Red and white oak make up most of what we install - they're durable, take stain beautifully, and age gracefully in a busy household. Maple offers a cleaner, more uniform grain. Hickory is the hardest domestic species and holds up well to active families and dogs. Walnut brings a richer, darker tone for a more formal room.

Stain options range from natural blonde and whitewashed to grey, fumed, and dark espresso. We bring sample boards to your free estimate so you can see the actual stain on the actual wood in your actual light, not a printed swatch.
